Participants receive regular elite coaching, take part in fixtures and study alongside their sport. The programme also supports future progression into semi-professional football, sports coaching careers, university study in sport, or industry apprenticeships. Students can register their interest via the QR code in the flyer or through the Juniper Training website.

5. Request for Views- Place Based Expansion Survey

We are currently developing Sandwell’s full application for Sport England’s Place Based Expansion programme, and your input is essential.

This programme is focused on working with communities to increase opportunities for people to be active, and it is vital that the voices of Sandwell residents, partners, and community organisations shape our approach. We want to ensure the application truly reflects local needs, strengths, and priorities.

Please take a few minutes to complete the short survey below. Your feedback will directly inform Sandwell’s full application and help us build a stronger, more representative proposal.

6. Request for Views-  HDRC Community Research Survey

This survey looks at how community and voluntary organisations engage with research, including their experiences, confidence, and views. The findings will help us understand what support or training may be helpful and inform future work to make research more inclusive and relevant for community organisations. The survey closes on 20th March and takes around 10 minutes to complete: https://consultationhub.sandwell.gov.uk/public-health/9831b1b0/

The team would be happy to visit any organisations or attend any meetings or events taking place before 20th March. Please email sandwell_HDRC@sandwell.gov.uk if you can support.

7. Request for Views- Young People’s Safety & Violence Survey

The West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership is working in partnership with BVSC to find out more about safety and social harm, and would like young community members to take part, across the region.

Survey – please could anyone who is 16-25 and lives in the West Midlands (Birmingham, Sandwell, Coventry, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton or Solihull) fill this out and share with anyone they know: Young People's Safety & Violence Survey - West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership
